Forward Air is cheaper, but u have to pick up the machine @ the Airport :-\

Cant do forward air as this guy lives 400+ miles from the nearest airport, know of any other carriers?

Well, if you could find a local company that does a lot of freight shipments, they would have a massive discount with their carrier of choice. At work we use Roadway Express and AAA Cooper. We do about 4 or 5 freights a week and we get a 70% discount with both of them. Also you need to make sure that they don't charge extra for unstackable pallets (most do) and that they won't be trading carriers midway through the trip. Many times they won't even tell you they are going to do it, and they charge out the bum. Texas to NY is gonna cost you some cheese any way you go about it, though. How much does it weigh?

250lbs, best quote door to door so far $372, trying to get even cheaper is like trying to get 5lbs of crap out of a 1lb bag..

Your only hope is to find a buddy that works in a shipping dept of a place that ships freight.
