Post by: grantspain on June 21, 2006, 01:49:34 pm
o.k one you gents must be able help me,i have a konami wartran and the graphics card is on the blink(asus v9570 td 256mb fx5700)-i have been quoted about $500 for a new one-i would like to put any card in but konami have prevented the pc from accepting any new drivers :hissy:,therefore it will only accept the exact preset graphics card-two questions firstly does anyone know where i can get a new/second hand asus v9570td 256mb or is there some way to get a driver for a different card onto the pc.i can't find anywhere in the u.k that sells this card

thanks for the reply,i checked out the first link but the product is no longer available(that is the problem i've encountered),as for ebay, there is the same card but its only 128mb-do you think this would suffice?

Well I'm not sure on that...

If the price is low it may be worth giving it a try....

But that looks a pretty graphics intensive game......

The 128 maybe underpowered...

If this is arcade hardware, and Konami designed it to need 256mb, then that's what you need. Any lower and chances are the game just won't work properly.

yes i think you're correct about the memory,i spoke to someone at konami u.k and he said it was likely to freeze if its too low in memory.
