Title: wei-ya chassis documentation?
Post by: zakk23 on June 19, 2006, 02:07:42 pm
Anyone know of a good source of Wei-Ya schematics/documentation?

I'm investigating swapping a chassis in one of my japanese cabs with a 15k/24k/31k capable Wei-Ya. The most commonly
available chassis for this is the C3129A. I'm trying to determine if this chassis will switch between resolutions without requiring a jumper/connector change. I've heard a few people say it doesn't 'auto switch' but I'm wondering if they  mean it doesn't store settings since it's analog. Normally I'd take their word for it, but I have one of the dyna flat monitors based on the C3129D and it autoswitches fine.

So does the 3129A autoswitch, or was this added in later revisions?

The best thing to do is get it straight from the horse's mouth: www.weiya.com.tw/

I too am in the same boat as the topic writer and found the site either unuseful or my brain cant get to instruction sheets but that may be cause i was looking for a different chassis.  I have an 826HR.  Anyone else have any thoughts on finding this information?

TIA

Why not simply email the manufacturer?

I've personally never gotten a response from Huai directly about the 825/826HR's.

I wonder if the US distributors would have any luck?
