There's only a couple I know of. Total Game Control :Shareware, and Joykeys :freeware. But joy2key works better and is easier. Are you having trouble with it?

Yes im trying to map something like say for instance on a PSX control as example X+[](square) = ESC and I cannot do multi button macros for some reason.

is this for mame?

because you can do all that IN mame with the original controls... and that way you don't have to run other software that might slow down your performance.

Its for Mame, StepMania, SNES, NES Etc...So I basicly need a key combination to = ESC so I can exit but not have it be just 1 key on the pad so I dont accidetnly hit it and quit.

I'm not too sure about how joy2key works, but perhaps you can write a small Autohotkey (http://www.autohotkey.com/) script. I'm not sure if it support multiple button presses, but it may do. Try the JoystickTest script (http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/scripts/JoystickTest.htm) and go from there.

I'm also using some psx pads. I map esc to the Select button. It's kind of hard to hit that one accidentaly. For mame I use the Start buttons as both Coin and Start. Killing 2 birds with one stone. You can also use Alt+F4 to exit with most emulators.
