Which one of these monitors has the best pic/most reliable? I am wanting to get a multisync for my cab and replace my standard res monitor. I really want something reliable that doesnt break all of the time, price really isnt much of an issue because if i get a multisync it will break the wallet anyway. Thanks for all of the oppionions in advance.

If the price tag isn't a major issue for you I believe Billabs BL27CB0P is the best choice for you as it supports 5 different resolution and is also equipped with a flat CRT which in my opnion gives a better picture.

im not paying a 160 bucks to ship ontop of 520.00. so i guess price is an issue.

I feel you on that one, using watkins is just Fn stupid, if i could get that thing forward air its only 50 bucks, btw wells is about 100 bucks to ship, 95 to seattle.
I paid 150 for the bill labs as i was to damn busy to pick it up, had it dilivered on saturday.
As for wells, i have used 2, actually one was motorfishes and the other was mine. His power supply started going bad in less than 6 months. was 150 bucks to replace but was better than when he recieved it afterwards.
Mine was \is working just fine, i sold it to motorfish and picked up the billabs, btw its worth the money there is a world of difference in video quality. Even motorfish was amazed at the difference.
I currently have my ps2 and xbox hooked up to it. They both look incredible, i will be putting a 360 in my cab here soon, and the 1024x768 res will rock.
I have not tried a betson yet.

I bought a Betson because there is a shop 20 minutes from my house, the monitor was on sale for 400 and it will support 800x600 out of the box. I run it at 640x480 however.
People have reported problems with both monitors and some people have not had a single problem. The Betson made sence for me because if something breaks they are close.

If the Billabs monitor truly is worth the money I wouldnt mind paying for it....Are billabs monitor's more reliable? Call me crazy but when I spend 600 bucks on an arcade monitor I want it to be working for a long time before it breaks...What are the warrantys on the Billabs monitor?
-
Also does anyone have any screen shots of the monitor in action (billabs)? i would like to see a screen of the desktop as well. just trying to make a decision. Thanks,

I have had my billabs on since i got it , 2 weeks ago. So far no problems. I thinks its 1 year but am not sure. If it doesnt go out in the first 30 days it should be fine. So far i have been lucky though, my wells has lasted almost 3 years without problems, though motorfishes started going out fast.
-
have you had any problems with pincushion or screen demension issues? I want a monitor that does have a screwed up demension or pincushion probs....i know there common in these arcade crts but...
-
I purchased the betson for 399.00 plus 60.00 shipping & I have had it a year no problems so far

I noticed that in the retroblast video review of the betson, there was some demension issues and pincusion problems...Does your picture fit your screen nicely w/out any type of distorted corner or what not? Also how does the windows desktop look in 800*600 mode?
-
As far as screen distortion, the billlabs has at least 4 times as many adjustments than the wells gardner, and the rotation setting works, unlike the betson, from info i gathered from the betson review it may have been fixed in newer models. You can't control the RGB settings though as they are set at the factory. Though this isnt a problem as the color reproduction is perfect, i calibrated the monitor using a calibration disc and it was 98% acurate out of the box.
-
You cant manually set the rgb settings on the billabs? But you say the billabs has alot of screen options?sorry just unclear.
-
you cant adjust the rgb, but from a geometry fixingpoint, my pc monitor doesnt have as many options as this thing does.
you can push and pul and rotate the image, so its fairly close to perfect.

what if the colors are not correct on arrival? I talked to the guy from billabs and he has said that they could ship via fedex as long as it is insured..
