Title: PSP Load time video
Post by: Wetworks on February 26, 2006, 06:17:35 am: Was thinking about buying a PSP but came across this little video.. Are load times slow on all PSP games? I have seen some slow loading games on the PS1 but this is ridiculous!

I haven't played that game, so I can't say if its real or not... but.... wow.

I've never played a PSP game that took more than a minute to load. In general, I can't even think of a game that sticks out as having bad load times. They are there, but not bad, at least IMO.

I wouldn't let this stop you from getting a PSP... but I certainly wouldn't get THAT game lol

Funny thing, the Gamespot review (http://www.gamespot.com/psp/action/wwesmackdownvsraw2006/review.html?page=3&q=&q=) mentions nothing about ridiculously slow load times. The game gets overall high scores. I don't care for that WWF stuff personally.

But the video said it best: if you were playing that on a train, you'd have reached your destination before the game had started. Very poor QA from both Sony and THQ. I hope that video convinces enough people not to buy the game that it hurts financially, and something is done about it.
