Title: Are there any PSX controllers with "rapidfire" which operates like this?

Implemented using only one "rapid-fire assign" button.. (not switches etc..):

You simply press the "rapid-fire assign" button once, then press any buttons you want to have rapidfire, then press the "rapid-fire assign" button again to confirm it.
 
Then *all* those buttons you chose have rapid fire, while rest of the buttons remain normal. (to reset all to normal you simply press the "rapid-fire assign" button twice etc..)
