Hi,
Before I go and eletrocute myself, I thought I would ask you guys where a cetrain wire goes from the back of my arcade montor.
I pulled out the control panel to work on, stuck it back in and seen that I have a yellow wire dangling from the back of the monitor. All the wires that come from the back of the monitor seem to be wired into a little pack with screws on the inner side of the cabinet. There seems to be no space for the yellow wire to fit in here.
Please please help!! All i'm getting when I plug the thing in is a horrid yellow screen. I'm guessing this wire is a colour controller?
Thanks so much,
JOhn

What brand/model monitor is it? It may be different than mine, but my W-G only has 1 yellow wire on it (well, there is a another one, but your monitor won't power up without that one connected).
The yellow wire on mine goes from the chassis to the yoke, and is soldered to a post covered by plastic cover. Here's a pic.

Where is the vacuum-cleaner?! :D
Heh, tell me about it! After 15 years of static & dust build-up, I had to clean off that wire to to double-check that it was yellow! My goal is to see how long I can go without actually cleaning it. ;D
BTW, it is a nice thumb....
