Title: Question for Minwah
Post by: leapinlew on January 27, 2006, 01:04:23 pm
Sir,

I love mamewah! Thanks very much. But I have a request or, possibly you can tell me if this is possible. I have 1 laserdisc game on my cab and possibly will add 1 more but that will be it. Currently, I have daphne on the cab, but not setup in mamewah. When I want to play this game, I have a batch file to run to play Dragons Lair. Is there any way for me to execute that batch file from within Mamewah while it's in the mame emulator screen? As in, can there be an exception to this game to run the batch file instead of a mame command and instead of having to switch to a different emulator?

The reason I would like to run this from within mame is for the "normal" users of the machine. They don't know the difference between Mame and Daphne. They see a list of games from the arcades.

Just curious. Thanks!

You can do exactly thus but only within the new beta release(s) - see the Mamewah board for this.  You'll need to use game-specific ini files to tell Mamewah to use the Daphne executable instead of MAME...
