Title: Can't believe myself..
Post by: ojelela on January 22, 2006, 10:33:55 pm: I finally got mamewah running on my comp. and I was trying to boot straight into it.
I found post where someone said:

Just realized your on Win 98, that makes it even easier. In your system.ini file I believe, change the line that reads "SHELL=explorer.exe" to your mamewah executable. That'll do the trick

I did that on my win 98 and now it said "Can't load mamewah.exe.....Please Reinstall Windows"
It won't even let me go to safe mode.Please does someone know how to go back to Explorer.exe????? :'(

Post by: JoyMonkey on January 22, 2006, 10:44:31 pm: Boot your computer with a Windows 98 Bootdisk (http://www.bootdisk.com/), then edit your system.ini back to it's original (shell=explorer.exe).

Thanks God. Now does anybody knows why it happened because it all works no problem if I start it........

Did you give the full Mamewah path (eg 'shell=c:\mamewah\mamewah.exe')?

No, I didn't because Explorer didn't have full path so I "figured" ::) it would be ok.You think that was the problem??

Post by: jcrouse on January 23, 2006, 10:27:59 pm: Make sure you set the ESC key to "Exit and Run App" or something like that in the mamewah.cfg file (if your using the latest beta).
