Title: 25K7401 VGA? What do you think
Post by: mamerocks87 on January 14, 2006, 04:51:09 pm
Okay i was thinking about getting a 27" arcade monitor (vga) model: 25K7401

It supports screen resolution upto 640*480 at 60hz. My question is can you use a arcadevga card and run the monitor at a normal 15hz to make it authentic emulation? Just wondering what everyone take is on the monitor...

VGA not for ArcadeVGA card
RBG is for ArcadeVGA card.

If your monitor has an RGB connection, then ArcadeVGA will work. If you only have VGA/SVGA connection, then ArcadeVGA won't work.

Your putting vga singals into a rgb monitor, what would be different except not having to have  a breakout cable?

25K7401 is a 25" 7400 series which is a standard resolution monitor.
