Title: Have the issues with the new ArcadeVGA been worked out?
Post by: krick on December 27, 2005, 12:35:28 am
When Ultimarc first switched over to the newer 9200 Radeon chips for the ArcadeVGA, I remember people reporting some problems, mainly driver issues.

Have all these issues been resolved?  Is it safe to upgrade to the newer card?

have not found any issues with mine, went straight in and worked perfectly.

from what I understand the main issues tend to be when people install the arcadevga on a machine that has previously had an ATI card installed which then causes problems because of existing driver files.

Purchased a AVGA 9200 about 8-10 months ago and besides some windows conflicts ( not driver related ), I've had no problems

Cheers,
