Ive been content with emulators on my psp but there are some new psp games coming out that Id like to get but dont want to upgrade the firmware to v2.0 anyone know if there is a way to bypass this. Or where I might find a list of games that require a upgrad?

Your best bet is to do individual searches for whatever games you're interested in on google and the various PSP forums.

I know Colin Mcrea Rally 2005 requires v2.0 but it is possible to run on 1.5 PSP by using WAB Changer program to make it look to the program that you have upgraded to v2.0
somehow i dont think that will work on newer games such as GTA and Pro Evo 5....
think it is necessary to wait for patched versions of the games to become available on web (think there is already version of Pro Evo 5 somewhere)
ultimately think upgrading firmware will be only way to play latest PSP games in the future....thanks sony!

You could always buy another PSP. ::)

It's looking that way for me. In fact most people who run modded consoles are buying two one to mod and one to run factory. I just don't want to give up playing homebrew.

you may be in luck. There is a bug in the new GTA game that will allow you to run unsigned code. They will shortly be able to run software through a save game bug in GTA running any firmware that runs GTA.
