I've been working on trying to get my controller.cfg setup correctly for a while now for ZiNc and was hoping some of you might be able to help me out. I'm having the common problem with my controls not working with the NAMCO games like DOA, Fighting Layer etc. I've researched this and looked up old topics with this same problem both here and at the Zinc forums and can't get a definitive solution to the problem. Anyway, here's my controller.cfg and button layout. Maybe one of you guys can take a look and see where I'm going wrong.

I just noticed that I have the player two coin and start labeled wrong in this image. 6 should be coin and 2 should be start for player two.

Whoo Hoo!!! Vibez was able to help me out with this one. Seems all I needed was to get the new version of Winterblasts Plugin and it worked like a charm. Problem Solved.;D ;D ;D

Does anyone know where i can find dafreaks zinc gui? need the winterblast plugin from what i can tell to deal with my zinc installation that will not let me remap keys using Aldo's FE
Every link i can find to dafreaks zinc gui it ofline or page not found ???

I am really pulling my hair out with this and if someone could help or point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
I downloaded ZincGUI 1.9.5 and i see it has the "winterblast" plug in. My goal is to get zinc controlls mapped to my SlikStick control panel under MameWah.
When i hit "setup controller" in the Gui, i get an error that no game has been selected. So i assume i must setup controlls for each game separately? Ok - i am probably missing how to set the default, but that is not all. I can properly set up for instance, SFEX to work with my controlls properly in the GUI, but my ultimate goal is to play SFEX using MameWah. However, in Mamewah, the control config doesnt load. So - i go and find the new sfexzinc.cfg file that ZincGUI creates, and copy all relevant controlls to the Controller.cfg file in the parent directory that contains zinc.exe I assume that zinc has a default controller.cfg and this is it. But this does not work.
I have also tried adding the command line to zinc using mamewahconfig 1.61.1 "./zinc 12 --controller=./controller.cfg" and even tried "--controller=./controller.cfg" to try to point zinc.exe to the controller.cfg file but zinc is not loading the controller config file.
I would really appreciate any help... spent like 5 hours trying to learn vb keycodes, screwing with controller.cfg in every directory, using various wrappers, etc.... no avail. THANKS
