Just a reminder that NesterDC SE is being released tonight at midnight.
Anybody as excited as I am?
Official Countdown (http://www.sch3rz0.com/nesterdcse/)
-
is this supposed to be the "final" version or something?
What's different about it?

Take a look at some of the changes here (http://www.sch3rz0.com/nesterdcse/wip_features.php).

Seems like a lot of those changes are gonna be hard to get done that fast!
-
That is so so nice. What a great job they did on this version.
-
Gah I made the CD then I realized I dont have a DC controller.
-
it says 99.9% compatibility.... what doesnt work?
-
I dont know what doesnt work but Im pretty sure all the major titles work, i.e. Zeldas and things of that nature. I played it last night and all the games I tried worked.
-
Hey I'm having a hard time getting a CD to burn. I have a complete nes set and when I compile the image for Nero I go to burn it and it reads way past 800mb when the image is only 506 mb.
Has anyone had this problem? Thanks
-
I tried burning it twice with nero and both times were a no go. I wasnt having the same problem you were but it non the less wouldnt play. What I did was just burn a diskjuggler image and used Alchol120% to burn it.
I think you can get a disk juggler 30 day demo for free out on the web.
-
Thanks I'll get that a try.
-
Diskjuggle worked ;D ;D
I really like the GUI on the emulator very good job guys :D
-
I find it really hard to scroll through the games quickly. Am I missing something??
-
If you hold down the R trigger you can scroll by Letters
-
Useless to me. I made one of these guys (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=32940.0;all). I have no trigger buttons.
Argh.
Looks like I'll be going back to the old version.
:(

Old version or not, that modded NES kicks ass.
-
Depending on how the controls are mapped, and if it can browse directories, you could do what I did for my modded xbox; Put the games starting with different letters into different folders. So you have an A folder and a B folder and the like in your rom folder. Then just go up one to go to the letter of the game you want.

I don't think you can put the roms into directories. When the building software is doing its thing, it asks for the rom location and says that it will only find roms in that directory, not roms within subdirectories.

Yeah, I love it. ;)
-
Yes you cant put roms into seperate dirctories.
Read the README file. it tells how to do it.

Im thinking of hacking a SNES pad for mine
