Hi, all: Working on an arcade cabinet, a bartop version, using the kit available from www.extraordinaryarcades.com. The kit is fine, although I'm having a tough time fitting my 13.5-inch monitor in there, even with the back casing removed. It fits width-wise, no problem, but the back door of the cabinet doesn't quite make it.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a 13-inch monitor with a small footprint, as far as how deep the thing goes?
I'm toying with the idea of just putting an LCD monitor in there, since it would fit comfortably (and be lightweight), but I'd rather use CRT....but I'll need one that's not too deep, or it won't allow me to close the back end of the cabinet.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards,
Mario

Your link did not work for me.

The link does not work for me either.

Sorry, the link should've been www.extraordinaryarcade.com

That link works. Modify the back door of the cab with an extension for the tube neck if that is what is giving clearance problems. Hard to recommend a TV without knowing what you are using and how deep it is. Maybe a picture or two.

What are the dimensions (namely length) of the 13.5" unit you have now that will not fit?
Are you looking for a ~13" PC monitor and is 640x480 okay or are you seeking something that is capable of higher resolution?

In general most 13 to 14 inch picture tubes are about the same length.

I must've had the weirdest, longest 13-inch monitor, because I just found another 13-inch monitor at a goodwill for $10. Fits just fine! Thanks all, for your tips/posts.
