Title: Most expensive mame games?

Hey, just upgraded my 2.4ghz -> a AMD 64 operan.  Man this thing is fast!  I got SWA running without any skips (for a few minutes, didn't have time to play much last night)

But anyone have a list of the games / systems that are emulated well that didn't run well on a 2ghz machine.  Sure there are the Zinc games, but I had Zinc (any of those run better in mame I should retry?). 

But I remember a bunch of "Oh, thats a cool screen shot... wish I had a faster processor".  I can't remember any of them... there was a few shooters (crypt killer I want to try tonight)...

any other recommendations?

This is off the top of my head and from hearsay, haven't tried it myself.

Cruisin' USA
Either Killer Instinct 2 or Primal Rage 2, can't remember which

Also, try running these games with and without sound...

You will see a big jump.

Actually... aaron just added speedup hacks to all the 3dfx games (read all the slower ones) so you can run them on a normal pc now, assuming you are willing to half the resolution.

Forgive me for my ignorance Howard but are these hacks added in the latest version of MAME?  If so then I think I'll have to upgrade.  Thanks.
