Title: My brain says it's time to go home...
Post by: Stingray on October 31, 2005, 03:43:24 pm
...yet the clock says I still have an hour to go. I hate ---word that would certainly be censored--- daylight savings time.

Agreed.  I convinced work I needed to leave an hour early to help with the trick-or-treating preparation.

Thats only gonna work for one day, though.

That's some quick thinking. Wish I would have thought of that.

I've stuck arround work for 2 hrs after my shift ended in order to find out if I won the Halloween costume contest at work. No doubt my lack of self respect / esteem should be worth something.  ;D

Now my brain is telling me I should just now be getting to work despite the fact that I've been here for an hour. Things are looking up though. Someone just gave me handfull of leftover halloween candy (prominantly featuring pixie stix), I should be zipping off the walls in moments.

Edit: Glow in the dark M&Ms? Don't think I'm eating anything that glows in the dark.

I'd never really given any consideration to the issue one way or the other actually, but now that you've shared I'll know that I am most definitely not interested in the future.

Sure - think of the money you'll save by not needing to turn on the lights for that midnight trip to the crapper.

I enjoy my new avatar as well.  I can't take credit for it though, I saw it on another forum.  It fits in perfectly around here though :)

And I have no work to go to today, so my brain is telling me to watch some Scrubs episodes and NOT study for that test tomorrow :)

The brain knows all. Never argue with it. Mine is telling me to send in some beer. Just have to wait a couple hours for that.

My brain is telling me it is time to go home but it is only 7:30am. Early indications are hinting that today will be a long one...

If it were almost 4 in the afternoon here, I'd already be pulling out of the parking lot. 1 hour to go.
