Title: Differences between hang-on and super hang-on controls
Post by: forbiddenlyrics on October 26, 2005, 11:05:49 pm
Does anyone know what differences there are between Sega's Hang-on and Super Hang-on controls. I have a Hang-on machine that is missing it's controls and I was wondering if I could replace them with Super Hang-on controls without making it look strange. Thanks!

I believe the Super Hang-ON control panel had an additional thumb button on the throttle side for the "turbo" feature. Also, unlike the original Hang-On the Super Hang-On control assembly had some kind of motorized vibration feedback that activated when a crash occurred. I believe these are the only two differences. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
