Title: GameLauncher Configuration Questions

Hi folks, I should be finishing my Cocktail Mame Cab this weekend and I was considering installing GameLauncher on it.  I'll be running Win98 booting straight to DOS, with DOS Mame.  I've downloaded the GameLauncher files and was just looking around.  I noticed on their site a screenshot showing it running with Game Name and Year showing.  Is this something you can set in the configuration file?  I didn't see anything blatantly showing this, but admitedly have only started to look at this.  If anyone has a config file they would like to share that would be great.

Are you talking about the pictures of Game Launcher running at that classic video game convention?  Those dates were manually put in there.  For Game Launcher you can manually change the name of what is displayed for every single game listed.

Yeah putting in all the dates would be a long task. BUT.....you might be able to use this program:

SortInfo, to determine what the dates are.  I'm not sure if the program will spit out text files or not...

Thanks for the reply Jakobud.....I didn't realize the dates were all put in manually.  I'll take a look at that program.  I'll play around with GameLauncher more when my cab is done (which s/b tonight or tomorrow!)

Cool.  You are gonna like Game Launcher.  I have yet to see a frontend that is better for arcade cabinets.
