Title: which emulators can be rotated verticaly

which emulators will play verticaly if i use my VIDEO CARD to rotate the screen so that they can be used on a cocktail cabinet, im thinking about setting up mamwah in my cab with different emulators i know mame works ok verticaly, but im also wanting to play snes games verticaly so what emulator would be ok for this??

I'm not aware of any console emus that will rotate.

I haven't tried but I figure if you can rotate the desktop then some emulators will stay rotated.  If you can get the emulator to stay in the desktop resolution then I reckon you'd be fine.  Some emulators insist on switching resolutions tho, which might cause a problem.

Easiest thing to do is try a few out...

There's a hardwre rotation faq i started in teh stickies list.  As others have said consoles don't rotate (duh). Sometimes you can do it with a hardware rotation though or just use MESS for your emulator.
