Title: Pinball machine prices
Post by: eightbit on January 18, 2003, 11:38:37 am
Any one know where I can find a guide to old pinball machine prices? I have a chance at a old Star wars pinball machine. It doesn't work and I have no idea whats wrong with it. I don't know if this is a collectable machine so I'm not so whats its worth. Obviously I want to get it cheap but I also don't want to lose it.

You could try the Auction listings to get an idea of how much one goes for.

You can either buy one of the two price guides that are put out yearly on pinball prices or use the Mr Pinball classified site to get an idea of what they are going for.

I think your best bet is to check the Mr Pinball site it has "real" asking prices and those books get outdated.

What Star Wars pin are you talkin about -- Data East?

I've fixed 3 pinballs in the last 2 years including a Data East Star Wars pinball.  Currently working on an old Widebody Hot Doggin, not the best game but I got it for free.

If you do get one I can help you in this area.  I'm not a pinball repair man, so all I can give you is what helpful information I've found.
