Title: Metal slug working in mame?
Post by: KungFuJoe on September 23, 2005, 02:15:20 pm
Just wondering if support for this game has been added to Mame.  On the same note, is there a way to see a list of "working" games for any given version of mame?

Look in the MAME installation directory, there should be a 'gamslist.txt' file in there.
If youre using MAME32 look in the Folder List under All Games.

And yes, Metal Slug is working in MAME.

I'm pretty sure the latest versions of mame no longer have a gamelist.

Goto http://www.mameworld.net/maws/ for a list of all the games out there and what versions they were introduced.

For me, MAME32 doesn't recognize any of my Neo Geo games. If I double-click the name, it WILL work, but it does not show it in "Available". I have to go through "All Games". Weird it would do this...

Anyways, it don't work for me though. Graphics are all corrupted.

Have you run the "audit roms" utility inside MAME32 recently?

Otherwise, do a scan of your ROMs via ClrMAMEPro, and also try deleting the contents of your "cfg" folders and try MAME32 again.

I refresh MAME32 all the time. Im sure I just have a bad rom set. I converted it down to 0.78 and it does the same glitches.

Ahmer: I am being a noob?
