Title: BYOAC F- Football trade?
Post by: tommy on September 23, 2005, 01:13:48 pm
I would like to deal P Manning, make me a legit offer if interested.

This is much easier than the yahoo way of trade proposals.

I'll give you David Carr and Warrick Dunn for Manning. (not Eli :))

Uh, no, Dunn ran for nearly 1200 last year and Vick ran for around 930.

Vick has a bad hamstring and will be kept strictly in the pocket if he even plays.

Dunn's workload is about to increase by about 10 carries/game starting this weekend.

Are you telling me i should trade Manning for Dunn?

PFFT, no, I wouldn't trade Manning for any QB.  Manning WILL get his 35+ TDs.  They've been pounding James into the line so far, he's too old to stand up to that for 16 games.  They're going to have to reduce his workload, and to do that, they let Manning rip.

Manning can rip.

Football talk is better than hurricane talk.

I agree, but talk that makes sense would be nice.

How about Brady and Bruce for Manning?  ;)

I can't particpate in cheesecake threads from work.

Brady and Bruce for Manning would be a good trade, actually, if my team were deep enough to absorb that.

Plus, there's nowhere for Carr to go but up, with a new offensive coordinator.

Tomlinson and Dilfer or Green for P Manning and a WR of your choice other than my two starters?

Torry Holt and Trent Green for P. Manning and one of your WR?

Sure there is, he can continue to suck.
