Don't know what this next site says but the pictures say it all.....

Why is this thread asking me for a password?

My Favorite Mod (http://www.zarksnipers.com/viewtopic.php?t=5246)
Check it out - lots of pics and descriptions.

that's too bad too because the first mod was a laptop moded into an older style bronco.
-
Wow, I bet that is one cranky horse.
-
Not the original site, but here is a snapshot of the Bronco Mod:

Maybe I'm reading that wrong, but it looks like it's mounted on the hood, which is silly enough, but it's also mounted with the screen facing forward. Am I missing something?
The little Bronco does look cool, but I question mounting it on the hood.
-S
-
the picture I had posted was a close up of the Bronco PC....
um no Stingray it's not mounted on the hood... ::)
-
I thought that seemed bizzare to say the least, but:
Not many folks are really
-
I want a betabrite on my car. That way, when people tick me off, I can launch multicolored, scrolling profanity at them.
-
the pictures back.......
see first post
-
I little more info at the first link, but I still don't understand the holes in the hood.

I just wonder how he carries it around???
does he pull it on a rope like a wagon???
-
That's what I'd do, which would confirm that doing so would be highly illogical indeed.
-S
-
I wonder if he has to keep the neighborhood kids away as he pulls it down the street
-
If it were me, I would have made a tiny robot cowboy to ride inside and give the kids a jolt with the cattle prod when they get too close. But again, since that's what I'd do...
-S
-
You don't want to think too hard about that cattle prod.
-
If you're looking for a little robotic "Rough Rangers" action, you're talking to wrong little cowboy. ;)

I really liked reading the writeup on this mod:

I gotta say, as nerdy as I first thought it all was, I am getting real interested in these case mods.....

Bones, when you decide to give one a go, STOP a second before you plunk down that cash for a new Dremel. Get a cordless version and at least one more battery. You'll wanna cut that friggen cord a few minutes into your project and make it a "homemade" cordless version :D
-
Nahhh... the whole bad boy biker thing has just been put on temporary hold. If I start case modding there will be no turning back. I will be a forever trapped and destined for a one way ticket to Geeksville.
-
Always one of my favs: The Christine case mod (http://www.davidgroth.com/index.cfm?p=9F591AA8-E04C-A014-FEFD8E9704F4564A&do=detail&img=9F5730BC-E04C-A014-FE4E59CC0DEB8671&ND_FK_PhotoCategoryID=9F4A524F-E04C-A014-FE33986FC9804B1F).

Aren't these the people who say their PC is outdated every 8 months?
-
PC's DO age in dog months you know...
-
Funny, I have bought three PCs in the past eleven years and have never suffered for it.
-
Personally I think the mods we do (As in build arcade machines) are a lot cooler. Imagine you go to someones house for a party do you either:-
a)Stare at bronco with a laptop on it
or
b)Have a shed load of beers while playing 4 player gauntlet?
-
I would just need the shed load of beers. Forget either mod.
-
That's nothing. Check out the Bender case mod. Slot loading optical drive in the teeth. (http://www.wymenfan.com/bender/)

I'll wait for the Jenna Jameson slot loading drive in the teeth model.

That statement could be the lead car for the freight train to Post Hell for this thread

here we find a photo of the elusive Stingray in his natural habitat. This is quite an opportunity indeed! Wait....wait a moment.....he seems to be using rudimentary tools to accomplish something.....what is he.....we're zooming in to see what he's trying to do.
*gasp*
Stingray is attempting to communicate with us! You can clearly see his feeble attempt to let us know what he wants......a grand day for humanity indeed!

If only I were as cool as Bender. ;D
-S
-
Seriously, Bender would never ask for hardware. He'd ask for beer.
-
And the sign would read "Give me a beer, meatbag."
