Thanks for the compliment and the info about my pic.  Oh well.  At least I got the site trimmed down so it doesn't shut down nearly so often.

A lot of the "free" webhosts won't let you direct link... typically the same ones that have ad banners/popups.. hehe

some of them let you link.. but a majority of them don't want you to.. because hey.. if you directly link to an image.. you bypass their advertisements.. and they don't want that.. *gasp*

If they can't make money off advertising it wouldn't be free.

Silverwind doesn't your ISP give you any web storage space? Most do.

If you wanna link from geocities, all you gotta do is copy the .jpg as a .txt, then link the (IMG) thing but make it as .txt instead of a .jpg, it's an interesting work around, but it works.

-glad to see you got the work around to display correctly, I don't think geocities is smart enough to realize this bug, and if they did fix it, it'd probably screw up their Pop-ups or something like that, so oh well.  It's free at least.

Your cab is a monstrosity  ;D  I mean that as a compliment, but there's no way I could get away with putting something like that in my apartment.  My wife is only just now coming to terms with the cab I just started and it is a much lower profile affair similar to Defender cabs.
I hope you have ear plugs handy for guests who want to retain their hearing into their old age  :P

very nice ;D

but now i can't decide whether to stick to my original plan and build a retro looking cab (cheesy paint job etc) or build something modern looking like yours (i love the black CCFL above the speakers, looks lovely in the dark!)

Sorry to bring this to the top, but does anybody know how to get in touch with Dr. J?  I've PM'ed him without success.  I need to ask him a question about his cabinet.  Thanks.

I sent you a pm.  Sorry I didn't see it earlier.  The email I got notifying me of your reply to this thread found me.
