Title: i just made a marquee do i have to have it

Vectorize , in order to print out ??/
Or what do i have to do to print out  say 24" long x 10 high

can someone  explain how exactly what do i have to do in order to get clear printing results ..

Depends on what resolution you created it at...  If I were going to use non-vector art, I'd probably shoot for 300 dpi for the artwork, but I think I've read some people say as low as 150 will produce acceptable results.  If you created your artwork at a lower resolution than that, you'll have to redo it at a higher resolution.  There's no real way to scale up low resolution artwork and have it print well - that's why the vector art is so popular around here.

On the DesignJet that I print with at Kinko's (I work there), even 100dpi will give acceptable results. I definitely would recommend keeping it higher, but if it's at 100dpi (at full size) or higher, I don't know if it's worth re-doing from scratch.

Most Kinko's use this same printer.
