It's an emulator to run laser disc games in your cabinet or on your pc. I haven't tried it because I don't have any mpeg files of the original discs.
What I do have are 2 original discs, an astron belt and a Dragon's Lair II, and if my limited knowledge of the law is correct, I should be ok to download copies of these mpegs, since I own the original discs (this sound right?). Now I just need to find a source for the mpegs, I am going to try some of the tombstoners and hope they might have them.
Now here's a question I've wondered for a while. When you are using the MPEG files that have been taken from an LD or DVD, or that you may have downloaded, are they fullscreen and if so, what, kind of quality are we talking? I mean the DVD/LD videos are BEAUTIFUL to say the least. So it would be a dang shame if the MPEGs were any less. The awe of these great games were their beauty.... and I'd hate to lose that.
Even with DSL I downloaded both DL and SA and both are corrupt. Keep getting unexpected end of archive....
They don't really have DVD ROM's at video rental stores do they?
Could you link me to fulsize ones of them? Looks great, but I'd love to see them larger. Thanks
I thought they had system specs at daphne's site.
