I have a chipped ps2 with a hard drive

Get a new case, you don't want an old looking one that's all chipped up.

Will this emu run off the HD on a non-modded PS2 using HDloader or HDadvance? Just curious, I have a MAME cab, there really isn't any reason for me to play MAME on my PS2.

The emulator itself can be run off of the Hard Drive or Memory Card if you wanted to. But Roms have to be burnt to a disk. So basically no it won't work with HDLoader.

What is not to understand? You just put your roms in the Roms folder and then you list all of your roms in a file called gamelist.txt. Then you creat an iso useing CD-Gen (http://www.exploitstation.com/files/cdgenPS2.zip) and burn it to a disk.

it's not as easy as it sounds....seems to work for some, not others
