Ok.. I attempted to jumper H + V syncs on my monitor, and now it doesnt work. I do think I know why though. Megatech's wiring is incredibly non-sensical, and during the harness White turns to black wires, and black turns to white. Effectively meaning that on the board, white is sync, and on the monitor, white is ground. I accidentally (due to this) wired WHITE to both ground + the 5th pin (V sync?) thinking that the 6th was the other sync due to the white colour and now.. nothing on the monitor, what have I broken this time? :(
I've done this before, accidentally mixing H sync wires + ground wires, and it's always been fine just no horizontal (or vertical) sync on the monitor. But now, nothing. Why?
EDIT: So, in conclusion, what have I broken by wiring ground to V sync? (5th pin)

Usually nothing, that won't harm a monitor you just won't get a picture.
Double check continuity with a meter and make sure all of your signals are making it from point a to point b.
Also does the monitor still have raster?
(I.e. do you have a white screen when you turn up the brightness?)
Start with these things first.
(Also if it's a k4600 series, make sure your cards are well seated in the montior chassis)

If nothings broken, shouldnt I be getting a picture? I cant test the picture atm as its in my shed and I cant see anything due to the sun so will be a couple hours with that. The monitor is a MTC 9000, btw. Since im not getting a picture something must be shorted / broken, any ideas what? (Hopefully nothing too big - It's been 4 months and this monitor is giving me a headache)

Oddly, it seems to have fixed itself =) All I did was re-seat the power connector and a couple fuses. Ah well, 'tis all good once again. Thanks for your help though Dabone!
