Title: Catver file

If I have Mame .99...but I have Catver.ini for version .98u4...does it matter?

I can't seem to get the games to generate..

I had catver for Mame 89....and just got the latest build..

And I can't find a version 99 catver.ini

any help?

Not really...just means some games might be missing from the catver file.  I wouldn't worry, get catver .99 when it becomes available.

You don't say what you are trying to generate exactly...

when i generate the games list, i don't get all the games on the new Catver...which is weird because i replaced the old Catver with the new one and the newer games still don't show up in my list..

You still haven't said what FE you're using...but most FE's don't rely on Catver at all for list generation, it just gives extra info for the available games.

I'm the idiot...

I forgot to get the actual ROM for the CHD games I was adding ::)

And I use Mamewah,,,what else is there? ;D
