Title: What's the difference between these 2 monitors?
Post by: javeryh on August 19, 2005, 05:22:24 pm
From Happs:

(49-1337-VP2)  19" VGA/SVGA HAPP VISION PRO SERIES MONITOR MTG-1902EN

(49-1337-VP2LG) 19" VGA/SVGA HAPP VISION PRO
MONITOR/PHILLIPS/LG MTG-1902EN

The CSR had no idea when I called.  There is a $3 difference between the two.  The LG model is in stock and the regular one isn't and I wanted to order...  THANKS!!!

The LG means the monitor has either a Phillips or a Goldstar (LG) brand picture tube instead of the Orion tube normally supplied.

THANK YOU!  So there's no difference in performance?

LG tubes are usually better quality.

The LG (Goldstar) tubes seem to have a good track record (life and quality).
