Title: zinc and my hearing!

Why is Zinc so damn loud?
Im playing a game on mame, switch to zinc and it near blows my speakers. All the zinc games are like this, but as far as I know there is no config to control the volume.

Any suggestions?

I have a soundblaster live card.

I know I've experienced that too!  I have added volume control to my cab as a result.  Or just turn down the volume on mame so that zinc is bearable.
