Title: Help with sideart contact paper
Post by: tcheat on July 27, 2005, 10:57:02 pm
I am finishing up a MAME cabinet based on a Firefox upright.  The sideart is in pretty good shape, but some of the black contact paper on the monitor area and base of the cab is damaged.  Does anyone know of a source for this?

Is it smooth or does it have a slight texture to it?

Check out parts express.  I picked up a roll of black to cover up some flaws on my kickplate.  It came out very nice.

If you are talking about the black vinyl leather effect, happ sells it (its called pica0 - its bloody brilliant quality, tho quite expensive!

DOnt suppose you've got any original parts from your FF you want to part with? :)

Regards
Rav

Sorry, RAV, this one was completely stripped and slightly damaged when I got it.  But I'd love a flight yoke if I could find one that was reasonable.

The vinyl/contact paper has a smooth, semi-gloss black finish.  I'll check Happs and Parts Express.  Thanks for the help.
