Title: Marquee Finished!!!
Post by: USSEnterprise on July 26, 2005, 11:54:25 pm
After at least 5 hours in Photoshop 7, I think I've finished my Star Trek Themed marquee. But what sucks is, the white specked background that took me at least 2 hours and 2,000 mouse clicks, cant be seen because of the friggin JPEG compression I needed to use to post the pic! The real image is about 20MB, CMYK, and 150 pixels per inch.

I like it but don't feel the individual images blend as they should. I find the straight edges a little distracting.

A B C D E F
G             H
I J K L M N

The worst offenders seem to be G,H,I & N. I don't know if you can shuffle the images around a little and use the straight edges to your advantage. Like moving H to N and stuff like that.

As you mention, there is no starfield in the compressed image so it's difficult to really know for sure without seeing the idea in all its glory.
