I'm setting up a small web server for an RPG I'm settin' up. I'm not using Microsoft software because too expensive. I plan on using Linux and Apache Web Server. Can anyone recommend a distro of Linux that would be good for this? I am limited to a 4.3GB HDD for the system drive.

What are you going to DO with the server ? (e.g. what does the server have to do with the RPG, what services are you planning to run, etc.)
Cheers.

sounds like a MUD im assuming?

Any distro would work. Just use which ever you are comfortable/familiar with. If you are going to tbe just serving pages for a small site you should be fine, but if you want to store user info in a database and such you might want to get more drive space.

MUD?
I plan on hosting both a small website and a message board. I am going to throw another hard disk in there for data storage, since the OS will likely take up most of the drive. The computer I'm using is a 366MHz Celery with 192MB RAM

MUD, multi user dungeon, text RPG... guess not. its pretty oldschool
-
Stands for Multi user dungeon a text based RPG.
Oops beat me to it
-
Well, it will essentially be text based, except for some pics on the web site and ranks pictures on the boards.

If worse comes to worse, I'll link to an invisionfree forum
