-
they have a website? what's the name of the company?
-
yeah... they have a website? hehe
I need me a D9200 :)
-
call them.
1800 890 9298
the name is "American Gamings".
However these people are sorta of annoying..like they will say "okay i will transfer you to sells" then it goes to someone's mail box and says leave a message and they will call..no one ever called back... :P
they are wells gardner NJ office.
I called wells gardner to see if you can order a monitor cod(i dont have credit card and hate asking my brother about using his) so they gave me this # and told me call them and ask them to ship COD.i was ready to pay $350 but it was about $110 cheaper.
Silverwind,
call them and ask them how much the d9200 is...you might have to get the part # from wells site because they will go "WHAT is the part#".
-
Looks like their website is
http://www.americangaminginc.com
The phone number matches but they list the k7400 at 360.00 on the website. Must have been a phone deal.
-
what the heck ???.
they made a mistake on my order or somehin?
Even if you order from their site(talkin d9200) then you still save $65...but i am still not sure about my monitor...well..anyways..i got a deal and happy ;D.
-
Hey SNAAKE how is the monitor working? Any problem with Vector games, zinc or any PC games? What scan converter are you using?
-
extron emotia is the scan converter.
games look GREAT..amaaaazing(when i saw amaaazing then that means its good because i am super picky about how the monitor look) color and no eye problem.
its all good except the pictures is rolling at times..it didnt come with ac power cord so i just stick 3 wires in there and hot glue..also..i only used the horizontal composite sync from the monitor.didnt try spliceing both vertical and horital from monitor to converters sync yet because i am not sure if it will blow anything up :P.better be safe the sorry.
i could confirm when my 3 pin molex connecter arrives and tried everything...i will post back on this as soon as i get this minor problem fixed. :(
this is just quick shots i just took.
the cab is in a hallway where there is no light so pics are pretty ugly and dark.

the rolling/blinking problem is so minor that you cant really see in the pics so i didnt bother posting a pic(i know i cant explain what the problem is) to see if someone can come up with a solution.
oh..dreamcast look great too using vga box.

You actually save more than $65 with these guys. The D9200 is on special for $450 right now. Shipping is only $30 and they give you a 3% discount for ordering online. That comes to $466.50 delivered.
If you buy the same thing from the WG site, they still give you the 3% discount but charge $60 for shipping and $515 for the monitor.
It's about $100 less to get a D9200 from http://www.americangaminginc.com (http://www.americangaminginc.com)
Great tip SNAAAKE!

The word Refurbished comes to mind.....
-
no PJ...its brand new...no one ever open the box..besides when i called i did make triple sure if it was new..they told me that had refurbished units long time ago for $200 a pop but they dont carry anymore.
the problem(blinking) I mentioned is either the scan converter or something else(refresh rate, vertical holds, didnt hook up vertical sync yet) because i did run a sf 2 jamma PCB the other day and things look more then perfect.

they give you a 3% discount for ordering online.
Great tip SNAAAKE!
hey hey..that explain the funny stuff again. :)
SEE...the sales girl told me total would be $287 but when the ups dude got here he told me $272 so thats the 3% discount.very good deal... ;D(man..i wish d9200 fit in my cab but noo...my door is too small for a bigger cabinet).

Does anyone know the difference between the two D9200 monitors, part numbers WGM2792-U0TS42A and WGM2792-H0TS59L? Both list as $515 on WG, but the first is $495 and the second is $415 on the AG website.

-
one of them is for golf i believe..some weird thing but normally you get the cheaper one.same thing you know except the one cost more is specficly for some golf game(i dont know why).
-
Actually, the WGM2792-U0TS09B is for I.T. Golf.
To answer your question, WGM2792-U0TS42A and WGM2792-H0TS59L are both the same monitor with different mounts. The U0TS42A has a universal mount and the HOTS59L has a horizontal mount
According to the Wells Gardner web site a horizontal mount is:
"This is a mounting scheme whereby the picture tube is in the horizontal position. There are two side brackets with handles in them that the picture tube mounts to with four screws."
A universal mount is:
"Universal mount monitors can be mounted in different configurations. There is a bracket on the top and one on the bottom of the picture tube. There are two "U" channel brackets that can be mounted in differen5 positions ion the top and bottom brackets."
