doing a couple of custom control panel overlays and wondering what material i should ask the printer to laminate the artwork with.
i want to have a texture as close to an actual CPO as possible. slightly rough.. not shiny.
i did a quick search and came up with a post where a guy laminates his CPO but he never got back to me about the the name of the material he used.
thx.

I laminated mine with the stuff you can put on books. I'd say it holds up pretty well.

you should have www.mamemarquee.com print your CPO.Their material is almost like the real arcade overlays.

i've seen his printing.. looks good.. but i use a specific printer for all my art and i get a really good price/sq foot. if i find that they cant match or beat the $39 for a laminated CPO then i'll got with scott. i just like to get all my stuff from 1 place.. 1 shipping charge whenever possible.
thanks for the suggestion.

BTW, here are two pictures of the CPO I laminated:

It's a test CP I made to see if some ideas worked (some did some didn't). I plan to get my final CPO printed by MameMarquees or ClassicArcadeGrafix.
CAG also sells some laminate (http://www.classicarcadegrafix.com/sunshop/index.php/action/category/id/15/). The textured version is about as expensive as a printed CPO ::)
