Wow....saw it last night. Tim Burton's orginal may have been outdone. Hard to say as I haven't seen it in a few years, but Batman Begins was fantastic.
And the new Batmobile is great. I know that the pictures that surfaced on the web made it look really ugly and lame, but when you see it in action you'll totally appreciate how badass it is.

Did it drag at first?
-
I can see how some would think so because there isn't a lot of action, but I thought the story and drama was totally engaging -- and there WAS action, just not as much as at the end. I never felt like it was dragging, though.

The most amazing part was that it was based on a true story.

Damn you! I'm stationed in Europe and wont get to see any real movie in English until I go back home on leave! I havent seen a movie in theatres since "School of Rock" came out.
I am so lonely. :'(

[SPOILERS??]
I liked it, but it wasn't perfect. The bad guys were lame. "We want to kill everyone for... uh... JUSTICE. Yeah. That's the ticket." Also the fight scenes were bland. And at the ending, did anyone know what the hell Katie Homes was talking about? You know that bit about her liking him in costume but not liking him in person. It sounded like she had something kinky in mind...

Well I figured it would be a step up from the last 2 Batman movies, but I didn't expect it to be great. I was pleasantly surprised! That movie was alot better than I was expecting.
-
I have no desire to see this latest in-crap-ation. The only decent Batman movies are the old 1943 Columbia Pictures serial and the 1966 Batman with Adam West. Now those are movies the whole family can watch.

MORE SPOILERS
I think what she was saying is that she loved the Bruce Wayne who wanted nothing to do with Wayne Enterprises or being a playboy billionaire. Now, part of being Batman, means that he must wear the mask of Bruce Wayne as well, so not to raise suspicion. Still, kind of a bitchy position to take, all things considered. She acts like a spoiled little princess.
Personally I liked the villains very much. The best since Joker and Catwoman, I thought.
The big plot hole that I got a kick out of is that before they activated their weapon anybody who likes boiled eggs or tea must have been getting more than they bargained for, LMAO.
