Title: Dreamcast VGA to PC Monitor question
Post by: bsoder52 on June 15, 2005, 10:28:29 pm
I'm working on the design of a cocktail dreamcast cab.
I've seen a few posts that have let me to believe that using an aftermarket DC VGA box alone is not enough to run the DC on a computer monitor.

Can anyone shed some ligtht on this for me?
I'd hate to but the DC, games, Wood, controls, etc....only to find out that I can't simply connect the DC to the PC monitor with the aftermarket VGA Box?????

Thanks in advance!

You can hook up to a computer monitor using only a VGA box.  That is what they are for, after all.  Those posts you are probably talking about are where people are trying to hook a DC up to an arcade monitor via a VGA box.
