Just in the final phases of a cabinet using a mirror setup and running MAME32. Whilst I can reverse the actual game displayto right to left, the gamelist displays in the normal left to right and so is back the front when viewed on a mirror. Is there anyway to reverse the monitor in general so that when projected on a mirror it will be the right way round?
really hope someone can help!!!!!
thanks

If you're running windows you might check the video drivers you're using to see if their is a Mirror option.
You didnt state if you're driving an arcade monitor or a TV or a computer monitor, but in essence, on all three, with varying levels of possibility (TV/arcade monitor = simple, computer monitor: maybe, maybe not) you can simply flip ONE set of yoke wires (either horizontal or vertical--not both, as that rotates 180 degrees) to produce a mirrored image.

Thanks for the reply Monitorguru, the screen is a TV and the videocard is a NVIDEA GeForce 6600

Check the nvidia drivers and see if there is a Mirror option. I dont think so, but I know they have rotate.
If it doesnt have the option, then what you need to do is open your TV set (with it unplugged) and swap ONE set of yoke wires to make it draw backwards. Depending on how the monitor is oriented depends on which set you swap.
Here is an excellent site about yoke flipping:
