Title: Please help with monitor, fortune 54SX528YZZ-DC01

the monitor is a Fortune 54SX528YZZ-DC01 in an LS Sound candy cab.
The problem is the monitor gets darker when there is a light picture on screen and lighter when there is a dark one. If anyone has any ideas as to how to sort this out I would be very grateful.

Looking too dark because of the bright sky.

I dont know if it helps but there is also an inch thick pale line on the left of the screen,

Ive been directed here from Killercabs forum, said there was an oracle called Ken. :)
