Hey fellas, I am hoping you can help me out with my problem. I would like to grab this monitor off of ebay, but I am unsure if an ultimarc avga card will support it. It is a Wells-Gardner K7193 25" monitor from a bestorizer game. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6180940502&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
Anyway, the only thing I am worried about is that it only supports 640X200 resolution from the listing. What do you guys think? Help me out, I'd love to mame this big screen.
thanks

"It was working when we took it out of the cabinet, haven't had it hooked up since so it should be fine, although I have no Arcade boards so no way to test it."
I just worry about this kind of warnings, it just tells me NOT WORKING.
Anyway, if any Arcade Monitor is 15khz, then AVGA will work. MAME states beastorizer as a 640x480 res, and that tells me its a VGA res. If it is a VGA then AVGA will not work.
Maybe there is something on the net or Ken Layton can exactly tell you what it is. Wait for some post...

From what I found on the net, horizontal(15.1 - 25khz and vertical 47 - 63khz). The guy told me his friend had it working with a low end ati card and he bought it off him. They pulled the monitor and it's been sitting in his garage ever since. He said he would refund the money if in fact it was D.O.A., but I don't have the setup yet to test it. I might take a chance on it for the price, though. We'll have to see.
thanks for the help
