I'm using Latest Windows Mame command line (0.96), latest MameWah (v1.61) on Windows XP, and a rotating TV on a GeForce 2 (440 MX i believe).
So I've searched around for answers on how to get the video rotation for each individual ROM correct. Horizontal games I want to be horizontal full screen on the TV and Vertical games I want to be rotated and full screen so when I rotate the monitor its all good. So far the only solution I've found is to write an ini file for each ROM that requires rotation to vertical with the command option: -ror (or -rol)
I've seen the MAMEWAH resolution tool but can't find any helpful documentation for it. It seems to me that this tool could automagically generate and set-up my ini files for each rom. Someone tell me this is so. AND IF SO: How do I populate the video modes list on the left and the ROM list in the center? I've followed the quick how-to but once I get to:
"Set 'Settings when Ideal Mode Not Found' to something sensible

-autoror and -autorol

-autoror and -autorol
*SMACK* I knew I was going to be slapping my forehead after asking. All I had to do was read the next two lines in the command list. Thanks!
I'd still like some help with the resolution tool. I'm thinking it will help me do the same thing individually with each ROM but also set resolution settings. Can anyone get me a little further using this tool? Does it have to do with the fact that I'm using a TV? If it helps to mention: I'm using SVIDEO out to an RF modulator so I'm outputting to a relatively old TV. Is the tool still useable in this configuration?
