I just got my Mini-PAC yesterday and hooked it up and I got like 8 of these windows popping up as seen in the screen shot bellow. When I unplugged the Mini-PAC I got 3 or 4 more and ever since I plugged it in I've been getting like 3 of these things popping up like once an hour...
I haven't plugged or unplugged anything during that time either, I'll just be sitting on the couch and "donk!" the computer pops up with a bunch of them things.

It is sorta interesting that I too am using an eMachine and the keyboard that came with it. I'm going to give the minipac a shot on my laptop now and see what's up.

Well, the Mini-PAC seems to work fine on my laptop but I'm still getting the error on my eMachine Desktop. I'm not connecting the Mini-PAC at all nor am I actually even doing anything. I've disconnected the keyboard and nothing helps. Matter of fact it seems to be getting worse. Over the past hour or so it managed to pop up like 30 of them stupid windows!
Any ideas before I have to go ahead an format my PC?

You might try going into Device Manager and removing the keyboard. Of course when you do this, you may loose all keyboard functionality until you reboot, but, when you reboot, you could try doing so with another keyboard connected.

Okay, I'm guessing HotKey Keyboard is either a driver or add-on for the multimedia keys on the E-machines keyboard. It probably stopped working when the mini-pac drivers were installed.
If it's a driver - then removing the keyboard and using a different one should get rid of it.
If it's software, you need to keep it from loading, easiest way is to click Start and Run and msconfig (not sure if this works on XP), look for something named HotKey and uncheck it (in Win.ini or autoexec.bat, etc.)
Note that if you do this, the multimedia features on the keyboard won't work until you re-enable it (if you have it on disk somewhere), if that matters to you.
