Because, God forbid, it would've been impossible for me to edit my post after he changed it. ::)

OK I'm not sure how gas prices are in your area but when I looked up mine, just for curiositys sake. The difference in price was 2 cents. so lets exadurate that a little and find out what the difference would be.
15 gallons X 4 cents more per gallon = you lose 60 cents :'(
[high pitch voice]Oh no what will I ever do? Ilost 60 cents this sucks[/high pitch voice] ;)
-
No kidding. I just buy gas whereever I happen to be when I need gas. I seriously have better things to do than try to save a few cents per gallon.
-S
-
not to mention how much of that 60 cents would you really be saving driving a longer distance, and out of your way to save a few pennies per gallon?
I don't know about other people, but for me that extra 5 minutes I would lose are worth more than 60 cents to me.

No, but it's stuck there until either your next visit to the board, or until a moderator fixes it.
You *can* reply without quoting.

15 gallons

no the actual fluctuation in my city Downtown, and outskirts is 3 cents/ gallon. thats not from the map, thats from driving around and seeing gas prices.
-
I usually stop by my local Sams Club on my way home they usually have it the cheapest....
But I will not go out of my way just to refuel that just doesn't make sense to me..........
-
:
15 gallons X 17 cents more per gallon = $2.55
Even so, $2.55 just isn't enough for me to go out of my way to get gas. I say again, I buy gas where I am when I need it.
FWIW, the variance was 8 cents a gallon for my area.
-S
-
well then, glad I could help! ;D

What about the person who finds that there is a cheap station on their regular route?

Well that would be great of course, but personally I don't need a website to be able to read the gas prices at stores that I drive by on the way to work. ;)

I usually can't read them. I would need my glasses, I cannot read signs that small, from a moving car, without them.

no the actual fluctuation
HEY! Fluctuwhiteguys too! ;D

HEY!

there is a 1.89 around me area. So eveytime I am in that direction and I'm 1/4 or 1/2 empty, I fill up already.

You guys are sooooo spoiled!
Two days ago I paid $1.27 per litre of fuel. That works out to $5.70 per gallon.
Then after our currency conversion a gallon of fuel would cost $7.50 per gallon.
To top it all off I need to add a $4.00 fuel additive per tank because my old beast runs on "Super" which is no longer available from the Aussie pumps.
In American terms it cost me almost $100 per week to fill a 12 gallon tank.
I miss my motorbike..... :'(

So why do you do it?
-
A man has to work..... If I didn't work I wouldn't be able to pay my fuel bill.
Ohhh hang on, they really got me good don't they?
-
where I'm at, gas is currently $1.98 a gallon.... saw a station on the way to visit my grandparents yesterday tho that was $1.93...
Then, to top it off, there was an article in yesterday's paper that says gas will probably surge to $2.50 soon and possibly around $3 later this summer....
Depressing....

Why not replace the vehicle with something more fuel efficient? The savings in gas would offset any additional vehicle price, if not lower your total cost.

Maybe you guys should go to the American way of measuring....that'd make it cheaper.....wait... ??? ;)

Acetone costs that much by you? ;D
