Title: Digital amplifier circuit
Post by: Trimoor on May 21, 2005, 10:31:48 pm
Can someone help me design a simple circuit to amplify the parallel port output to 12 volts?  Can I do this with a single NPN transistor and an optoisolator?  It only needs to source a dozen or so milliamps at a fairly low baud rate.

I am using it to drive a rather peculiar audio device, of which I shall describe at a later time.

Thanks!

*Bump*
Come on, it's a simple single transistor circuit.  Anyone?  I can never figure out transistors...
