Title: Arcade background sounds
Post by: Dexter on May 16, 2005, 08:01:20 am
Guys,

There was an audio file floating around with the recording of an actual arcade from the 80's. Does anybody have a link to this? I'm planning on having it play on my cab in gamelauncher.

Ta

At one point there were bit torrents available.

For the record, I think there are 3 environements: 1980, 1983, and 1986

yes there are three.........

I would sometimes put them in my c.d. player in my truck and listen to them while driving........

I liked 1983 the best........

That's pretty extreme. I had the 1986 one mixed in with my MP3 collection. Once I was commuting to work listening to my iPod set to Shuffle and I was half asleep like I usually am at 6am on the train. All of a sudden I realized that I'd listened to ten minutes of arcade noise without even noticing. It felt a little weird listening to all that noise on an empty subway train, so I removed it from my MP3's.

Too bad they're not actual recordings of an arcade in the 80s.
