Hi ya'll. I was wondering if anybody could point me towards someone who could fix a 25" monitor I've got. If that works out well, I've got several others that could use fixing as well. Otherwise, where should I be checking in the yellow pages?
I live in the DFW, and don't want to ship it anywhere. That would double the price of the fix. Thanks in advance.

*whistles* BUMP! *whistles*
Seriously, though, this is very important. The lives of classics are at stake!

I know of one person who is technically capable but it is not his primary business activity who works from a business based in Arlington. At one point in his employment history he did alot of arcade repair.
I will track him down and inquire if he is interested in and for what kind of fee and report the results of that conversation here.
Is this monitor something you would willing to transport to his shop or are you looking for it to be serviced on "your site"?

I don't mind the drive if the repair is good. That should help keep repair costs down. I don't know if he has any test equipment, though (ei. an arcade machine to hook up to).
I'd likely want to take 2 or 3 at once, though. I don't know if that would be a problem for him. We can always start with the 25" and work from there.
