I have set Mamewah as my default shell under XP Pro, and everything works fine until I exit Mamewah. When I do, I see a blank Windows background. I've changed exit_action to shutdown in mamewah.ini with no difference. Am I missing something?
-
Does it work right when you select exit and shutdown from the menu?
-
Forget the exact reason, but apparently that setting refers to an exit through MAMEWAH's menu, so I suggest just exiting through the menu. Never saw anything about somebody getting it to shutdown by just hitting escape :(
-
My ESCAPE key works like that.
I think for it to work, you have to mess with the windows setting for logon, require password, etc.

It works as expected when I exit through the menu, but it doesn't when I use escape. It's probably a registry setting I'm missing.

It should shut down completely and turn off the PC if your set the ctrlr file like so:
EXIT_TO_WINDOWS
EXIT_AND_REBOOT
EXIT_AND_SHUTDOWN "DIK_ESCAPE"
Also check your mamewah.ini file in the MameWAH folder. There is a shutdown setting in there that tells it WHAT to do when the above command is executed.
